The day aims to inform and inspire you to learn more about ‘Teaching for Mastery’ approaches and the mathematical subject knowledge and pedagogy used in all of the Maths Hubs programmes. .
Book now for the opportunity to have a deep insight into the 5 Big Ideas of Teaching for Mastery, a taster in how to plan for understanding and how to use manipulatives at both Primary and Secondary. You will hear from expert speakers and take away strategies for your current teaching practice and through your teaching career.

Attendees: Mathematics specialists: Postgraduates PGCE, SCITT, Schools Direct, Undergraduates and Teach First.
University tutors would benefit from attending the day with the sessions providing prompts for reflective discussions with trainees on what new ideas they might take into their schools.
