RIWG: Secondary Mastery Readiness Programme

The Mastery Readiness Programme has been developed to provide a stepping stone to take schools into the Teaching for Mastery Programme in 2021/22, offering collaborative training and bespoke support from a specialist.

This Work Group is suitable for those in primary or secondary settings.

The training includes an introduction to mastery, how to prepare a school to be ready to implement teaching for mastery, initial steps, both in leadership and in classroom teaching, and strategies to overcome potential barriers as well. as support for the SLT in addressing leadership issues related to mathematics and contributing to raising standards. You will also get the opportunity to work closely with other schools also developing mastery readiness.

What is the cost?

The Effective Multimedia Learning Work Group is fully funded by the Maths Hubs Programme so is free to participating schools.
