Leeds, Bradford, CalderdaleThe one-year programme will develop TA's knowledge, with a focus on language, representation and reasoning across addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, ratio and proportion.
Teaching Assistants will take part in engaging tasks that explore the progression of mathematical concepts from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 3. Sessions will provide a safe and supportive space for discussion, questioning, and curiosity alongside other TAs from across the region. Participants will also develop strategies to effectively scaffold learning for the pupils they support.
